Aio Nica Is Now Across All Three Platforms: Ledgr, Entropy, and Techdesk

In May, we introduced Aio Nica as Ledgr's built-in AI accounting copilot — context-aware, always present, and capable of answering BIR deadline questions, payroll computations, and compliance checks without pulling you out of your workflow.

Since then, we have kept building. Aio Nica is no longer a feature of one platform. She is now embedded across all three applications in Technica's SaaS suite: Ledgr (accounting), Entropy (HRIS), and Techdesk (IT helpdesk). The same agentic AI copilot brand — the same rotating tesseract, the same streaming response drawer, the same philosophy of staying in context — is now available to every team your business runs.

Aio Nica in Ledgr

Ledgr is Technica's accounting platform for Philippine SMEs. It covers 25+ modules — from the General Ledger and Journal Entries through BIR Obligations, VAT Workpapers, WHT Certificates, Payroll, AML/KYC, and Notes to Financial Statements.

Aio Nica inside Ledgr knows which module you are working in and surfaces starter prompts tailored to that view. On BIR Obligations, she asks about upcoming deadlines and overdue filings. On Payroll, she checks whether statutory deductions are correctly computed. On VAT Workpapers, she tells you what to file on 2550M this month.

Her knowledge is not generic. She reads your live trial balance and books, applies current Philippine schedules — TRAIN Law graduated rates, the SSS MSC table, PhilHealth at 5% of basic, Pag-IBIG contribution caps — and flags issues against your actual numbers. AML alerts trigger at the ₱500,000 CTR threshold under RA 9160. PFRS compliance checks track which of the 10 required Notes disclosures have been authored.

The original article on Aio Nica in Ledgr covers this in depth: Meet Aio Nica: The AI Copilot Built Into Ledgr.

Aio Nica in Entropy

Entropy is Technica's HRIS platform. It handles the full employee lifecycle: employee records and org chart, attendance (Holiday Calendar, DTR, and biometric import via ZKTeco and Fingertec CSV files), leave management, payroll processing, employee portal, performance reviews, recruitment pipeline, and compliance.

Aio Nica in Entropy has access to the full HRIS context. When you open her drawer inside any Entropy module, she already knows:

  • Headcount and regularisation alerts — which probationary employees are approaching their regularisation date
  • Leave summary — current leave balances and pending applications by type
  • Payroll state — current period totals, anomaly flags, and whether all statutory contributions have been computed
  • 13th month tracking — prorated amounts based on each employee's actual paid days to date
  • Remittance calendar — SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contribution deadlines for the current month
  • Performance reviews — pending reviews by department and status
  • Recruitment pipeline — open requisitions and applicants by stage

A concrete example of how data flows into her context: when HR imports a biometric CSV from a ZKTeco or Fingertec terminal, Entropy matches records to employees via their biometric_id and writes them to the attendance table. Aio Nica immediately has that attendance data in scope — she can answer questions about DTR completeness, late arrivals, or overtime hours for the current period without anyone having to summarise anything manually.

The employee portal extends this to the workforce. HR managers provision portal access from within Entropy; employees then self-serve their own payslips, leave balances, and DTR records. Aio Nica is available to HR managers inside the platform throughout — the portal is the employee-facing layer, Aio Nica is the HR team's layer.

Aio Nica in Techdesk

Techdesk is Technica's IT helpdesk platform — built for Technica's managed service clients and for any Philippine business that needs structured IT ticket management with SLA accountability.

Ticket types follow ITIL-aligned prefixes: INC (incidents), SR (service requests), PR (problem records), Q (queries), and CRQ (change requests). Each type flows through its own lifecycle. Change requests have a dedicated Change Request module with full CR history and an approval workflow. All tickets carry dual-tier SLA tracking — response SLA and resolution SLA — evaluated automatically when an agent picks up a ticket.

Aio Nica in Techdesk is aware of the current state of the queue: open tickets by type and SLA status, in-progress change requests, and agent workload. She can answer questions about which tickets are breaching their SLA window, what the outstanding CRQs look like, or what the ticket volume has looked like this week.

Both agents and clients see status change notes throughout the ticket lifecycle. When an agent resolves, pends, or closes a ticket, a contextual note is recorded — Resolution Notes, Pending Notes, Closure Notes — and these appear in both the agent's Ticket History panel and the client's portal view. Aio Nica has this history in context.

All agent provisioning and platform access management runs through Architect, Technica's admin panel. Technica's team manages which staff are active as Techdesk agents and which client organisations have portal access — all from one place.

One Consistent Experience Across Platforms

The Aio Nica experience is identical whether you are in Ledgr, Entropy, or Techdesk.

The floating button — a rotating tesseract, a four-dimensional wireframe cube in Technica's brand colours — sits in the lower right corner of every page. Click it to open the drawer. Ask your question. Responses stream back token by token in full markdown: tables, bullet lists, and inline navigation links that take you directly to the relevant module.

The drawer holds your conversation history for the session. A Clear button resets it. You can expand the drawer to half the screen for longer outputs. Escape or the × button closes it. Switching modules cancels any in-flight request and resets Aio Nica to the new context automatically.

This consistency is deliberate. Your accounting team, your HR team, and your IT team should not have to learn three different AI tools. They learn one interaction model — and it works everywhere.

What Aio Nica Is Not

Every Aio Nica instance carries the same disclaimer: she is not a substitute for professional advice.

She is a productivity tool for trained professionals. She can surface the correct BIR form, flag a regularisation deadline, or tell you which tickets are breaching SLA — but the accountant still owns the filing decision, the HR manager still owns the employee action, and the IT manager still owns the change approval. Aio Nica removes the lookup and the context-switching. The professional judgement stays where it belongs.

Available Now

Aio Nica is live for all clients on Ledgr, Entropy, and Techdesk today. Open any module, look for the rotating tesseract, and ask.

If your business is not yet on one of these platforms, this is a good time to see what an AI-native SaaS suite built specifically for Philippine operations looks like.
